The election of the 2017-2021 Virgin Islands Volleyball Association (VIVA) Executive Board was held at the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports conference room at 5:30pm. The new board members and their positions are as follows:
President – Mr. Willis Potter
Vice President – Mr. Alquamin Nibbs
General Secretary – Mrs. Kisheba Sprauve-Callwood
Assistant Secretary – Mrs. Anna-Belle Skelton-Malone
Treasurer – Ms. Sabinah Clement
Assistant Treasurer – Ms. Maria Drigo
Public Relations Officer – Ms. Desirae Farrington
Players Representative – Ms. Henrietta Alexander and Mr. Curtis Davis
The VIVA Executive Board thanks everyone that took time out of their busy schedule and came out to vote to make this year’s election possible.
Special thanks are extended to Mrs. Angeleta Bernard (Supervisor of Elections) and her team Ms. Alicia Paul (Tally Clerk), Mr. Jason Edwin (Tally Clerk) and Mr. Rhennie Phipps (Tally Clerk) for coming out and assisting with the election to ensure that operations were running smoothly. The Executive Board would like to thank Ms. Sabinah Clement (Past President) and her team for the outstanding work that they contributed to the sport over the years.
