2019 seems to be a year of records and high achievements for Eldred Henry who won the 2019 Indoor GMAC Championships establishing a new US Indoor Collegiate Division 2 Record with a distance of 20.61m in the shot put. Then as the 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor shot put champion, he set a new National record and new OECS record of 21.47m.

He was a 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games bronze medalist in the shot put with a hurl of 20.18.

A student at the University of Findlay, Ohio, Eldred attended his first the Commonwealth Games at Glasgow 2014 at the age of 19 and also competed in the same event at Gold Coast 2018. His first Olympic appearance was at the Rio 2016 Summer Games.

Highlights include winning Bronze in Discus Throw and Shot Put at the 2016 North America, Central America and the Caribbean (NACAC) U23 Championships, El Salvador. Eldred was also the winner in the Shot Put at the 2017 Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Games, Grenada.
