Monday, July 3
9:00am – 10:00am – Official opening and introduction of the baton at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park

10.00am – 11.15am – Baton relays from Road Town to A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground
• Noel Lloyd Park to Tortola Pier Park
• Tortola Pier Park to the Breezeway
• Breezeway to Waterfront Drive traffic lights
• Waterfront Drive traffic lights to QE II Park
• QE II Park to Old Government House
• Old Government House to Adina Donovan Home For the Elderly (10 minute stop to visit residents).
• Adina Donovan Home For the Elderly to Sir Olva Georges Plaza
• Sir Olva Georges Plaza to Chalwell Street
• Chalwell Street to Midtown Restaurant
• Midtown Restautant to HM Prison Museum
• HM Prison Museum to the Sunday Morning Well
• Sunday Morning Well to Botanic Gardens
• Botanic Gardens to the Sugar Works Museum
• Sugar Works Museum to A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground – enter from Walter Francis Highway.

Drive from the A.O. Shirley Ground to Ebenezer Thomas Primary School, Sea Cow’s Bay

11.30am – 12.00pm Presentation by students of ETPS.

12.00pm – 1.00pm – Ebenezer Thomas Primary School to Nanny Cay
• ETPS to Manuel Reef
• Manuel Reef to Nanny Cay by sloop with flotilla of Tortola Sloops, and dinghies sailed by RBVIYC and KATS youth sailors
• VI Volleyball Association – mini-beach volleyball displays
• BVI Swimming Association display in the pool

1.00pm – 2.30pm – Lunch break on the beach at Nanny Cay

Scenic drive to Cane Garden Bay

3.00pm – 3.45pm – Baton relays from De Wedding through Cane Garden to the beach by Quito
• De Wedding to Callwood Distillery
• Callwood Distillery to Ivan Dawson Primary
• Ivan Dawson Primary to Cane Garden Bay Police Station
• Cane Garden Bay Police Station to the Methodist Church
• Methodist Church to the beach east of Quito’s

Boat to Great Harbour – JVDPS restored sloop from dock to Foxy’s. Walk along the road back to the dock.

Tuesday, July 4
8:30am – 9:15am – Virgin Gorda welcome at the Walters Recreation Park, Spanish Town

9:15am – 11.15am – Baton relays through The Valley to the Baths
•Walters Recreation Park to Rock Café
• Rock Café to Bregado Flax Educational Centre. Presentation by students of BFEC.
• Bregado Flax Educational Centre to Spring Bay
• Spring Bay to Top of the Baths
• Top of the Baths to the Baths
• Back up to Top of the Baths

Scenic drive from Top of the Baths to Hog Heaven. Stops at Copper Mine and Gorda Peak.

Necker Island visit with students of Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School

4:30pm – 5:45pm – Baton relays from Trellis Bay, Beef Island through East End, Long Look to Greenlands Playing Field

  • BVI Tri Federation Cyclists from Trellis Bay to Chapel Hill Methodist Church
  • Chapel Hill Methodist Church to Penn’s Landing
  • Penn’s Landing to Willard Wheatley Primary School
  • Willard Wheatley Primary School to East End Post Office
  • East End Post Office to Long Look Sticket
  • Long Look Sticket to Gram’s Place / East End Tennis Courts – display game by BVITA youth players
  • Gram’s Place/ East End Tennis Courts to East End Police Station
  • East End Police Station to East End Stadium – BVIFA youth display game
  • East End Stadium to Greenlands Playing Fields (handover to BVI Archery, Basketball, Softabll – Archery, Taekwondo, Rugby and Softball demos.)

6:00pm – 7:30pm – Grand cultural presentation and closing ceremony at Government Admin Complex. Presentations by local performers and resident Australian community members. ‘Coal Pot Cook Off’ – a culinary tasting of the BVI for the international QBR crew. Music, local food and drink vendors. Fun for the whole family!
