President of the BVI Basketball Federation, Mr Derrick Varlack, announced that the Federation is seeking interested persons to register for the 3×3 district tournaments in an effort to familiarize themselves with the 3×3 game.

Mr Varlack noted that “the Federation has been reviewing viable solutions to rejuvenate and sustain basketball throughout the Territory. We believe that 3×3 basketball is a new option for basketball in the territory, which provides opportunities for basketball players regionally and internationally.”

“As we prepare to enter the 2021 basketball calendar year, we anticipate facilitating several 3×3 tournaments in addition to the traditional 5 on 5 basketball leagues across the BVI. We will continue providing support in efforts to foster the development of basketball while promoting an active lifestyle in our community,” said Mr. Varlack.
