The Queen’s Baton Relay occurs once every four years and was last in the Virgin Islands (British) in March 2010. During the visit, the BVI will have the opportunity to showcase its sportsmen, -women and -children as well as the culture, diversity, beauty and hospitality of the territory. The BVI Olympic Committee has planned a series of events including running, swimming, cycling, and sailing relays on Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4. This year’s theme is youth oriented and seeks engagement with the children of each visited country.
