An even more versatile high school athlete than Mario Todman, Augustine remains the youngest competitor to have represented the BVI in Athletics at the Olympic Games.
At Central Arizona College, his win in the 400m hurdles at the National Juniors College Championships marks the only Collegiate Championship win at any level by a British Virgin Islands’ athlete in an individual event.
Steve Augustine was part of the men’s 4x400m relay team at the Atlanta Summer Games.
