Long-time national record holder at 800m (1:49.5), Molyneaux also held the 1500m record (4:04.3) for several years.
A graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, he is now considered one of the leading high school athletics coaches in Maryland.
Jerry Molyneaux represented the BVI at age 26 competing in Round One of the 800m with a time of 1.53.23 and in the men’s 4x400m relay.
