The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi will be in the BVI on Tuesday, March 23rd and Wednesday, March 24th, 2010. The relay is the curtain raiser for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi and is on a tour of all 71 Commonwealth nations. The BVI is the 41st country that will be visited by the relay.
There is a full itinerary of activities planned to showcase to the world the sportsmen, -women and -children, the culture, history and beauty of the BVI.

Tuesday, March 23rd
9:00am - 10:00am - Official opening and introduction of the baton at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park
10:00am - 11:00am - Baton relays through Road Town and Sea Cows Bay
11:00am - 11:30am - Sailing flotilla from BVI Watersports Center to Road Harbour
11:30am - 1:00pm - Baton relays from Road Harbour to the A.O.Shirley Recreation Ground
3.30pm - 4.30pm - Baton relays through Cane Garden Bay and Carrot Bay ending at Bomba’s Shack
Wednesday, March 24th
8:30am - 9:15am - Welcome reception hosted by the Premier at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour
9:15am - 11:15am - Baton relays through The Valley to the Baths and the Bregado Flax Educational Centre
4:30pm - 6:00pm - Baton relays from Trellis Bay, Beef Island through East End, Long Look to the HLSCC
6:00pm - 7:30pm - Grand cultural presentation and closing ceremony at the HLSCC
7.30pm - 9:00pm - 'Tastings under the Tent' - a culinary taste of the BVI and India presented by the HLSCC Culinary Arts Department
